I am currently using Quickbooks Pro as my accounting information system and believe it is robust enough to handle most small business requirements. However, I am available to process data on site if you are currently using other software or would like assistance in some areas. We can talk about what works best for your specific needs.
Accounts Receivables is clearly an important function for every business. Prompt and accurate billing is crucial for cash flow reasons and I would encourage and facilitate the use of monthly statements of unpaid balances and letters of past due amounts to be mailed on a regular basis. Should it be necessary, I also have experience calculating and submitting state sales tax reports.
In dealing with Accounts Payables, there are two issues: Verifying the accuracy of the supplier's invoice and making payments in a timely manner. Shipments must be checked for the correct items, and invoices must contain the correct billing amounts. Maintaining a system of payments that allows the maximizing of discounts and cash flow is basic to all operations.
One of my strengths is that I am a detail oriented person. This is particularly advantageous for the processing of Payroll and the required tax reporting. I will establish employee files, maintain employee data and salary histories, and process and/or retain mandatory government forms.
Financial Reports can be as basic as Income Statements and Balance Sheets, or I can customize a variety of reports concerning any aspects of the business. I welcome reporting requests tailored to your individual preferences and feel they can provide a wealth of knowledge regarding your operation.
